It’s My Way … No Highway Option

Now I understand what my mother was talking about when she said, “Just wait until you have kids of your own, then you will know what unconditional love really is”.  That a definite I now know what she meant.  Javier and Quinton are the reason I am meant to be in this world.  I get enjoyment out of the smallest things now…Javi laughing makes me gitty…Quinton playing baseball with his Daddy shows me how much he has grown up.  Best of all…teaching them right from wrong and keeping them on the right path.  Children are our future and if we dont educate them and show them love then who will?

Javier is gonna be 1 month old in 3 days…I can’t believe he is already growing up sooo fast.  He is so aware of everything around him and doesn’t cry as much as I anticipated…which is a good thing I figure….lol. He is a very good boy.

I go back to work soon.  I love my job but now that I am a Mommy I dont wanna leave my little guy.  But Daddy will be home with him so I am thankful for that.

We’ve been going to my parents house every weekend lately.  They are so excited to be Nina and Nino (grandma and grandpa in Spanish…kind of…lol…Abuela and Abuelo actually, but my family has a different slang I guess).

Gotta go feed my son!

I have been holding the camera since Javi was born I think…lol. I have close to 500 or more pictures already.  It’s funny too cause most of them look like repeats of Javier.  He cant really do anything but lay there of course…but he is sooo cute.  Quinton loves taking pictures of him too.  My family all came to visit from different states, some from Washington, Northern Nevada and California.  We had somewhat of a reunion…lol…it was a blast. Haven’t seen a lot of them in a long time so that was nice.  My Nina, fathers’ mom came to visit also. Javier is her first great grandson…very exciting!!! Anyway Ern and I have been taking so many pictures…we have to upload our memory card almost daily…lol.

Javier Santana Bourdeau is here! He was born at 7:51 am on Friday morning February 23rd.  He is the most beautiful little boy I have ever seen. First thing Daddy said was, “Look babe he is gorgeous” and I started crying.  He is a big boy too, born weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.  Chunky butt…lol.  Javi is now 1 week old and such a good baby. He seems more mature than what he should be…like he knows the secret to life.

Im on maternity leave and will be until April 2, so I get to spend every moment with my new little guy.  Big brother is my little helper, he gets diapers and burp rags for his little brother. Quinton is going to be a great big brother.
